Alanna Fennell

Alanna (she/they) started playing with hair and makeup at a young age, and has always been compelled by its ability to transform the outside and the inside. She loves that it can be used as a form of armour as well as a doorway to authenticity and vulnerability.
Alanna is a multi-faceted artist who specializes in natural make up for all skin tones, as well as creating colourful, playful designs. She started her professional career in 2019, and has quickly honed her style and skill, working with clients like Holt Renfew, Champion, KT by Knix, TD Canada Trust, Corey Moranis, Shelli Oh, VSP Consignment, and many more. She has had the pleasure of collaborating with musicians and artists like New Ho Queen, Katie Tupper, Georgia Harmer, Rayl, Ramona Vee, and Ceréna to bring their artistic vision to life.
She is excited to work with artists and clients who are telling stories that expand our definitions of beauty, of courage, and of who matters. She is driven to create new and expansive representations of queer and Asian femmes and other communities that have so many more stories ready to be told. But mostly, she is looking for ways to infuse our collective experience with a little more joy and play.
Her positive energy and creativity make for a good experience behind and in front of the lens.
